Almaden Valley Living

As part of a huge home transformation, this living room was the first space that inadvertently received some of the overhaul (and the first space you see when you step into the home). Although the space itself is not huge, its sloped ceilings go from nine feet high on one side to seventeen feet high on the other side, meaning that it deserved some vertical attention that could carry an impact. Enter…. a massive chandelier and a fireplace statement! The beautiful soft gold and silver veining in the slab of natural quartzite sets the stage for the color palette of the open room, and the green allows just the right tone of natural color contrast which is subtly carried through in the rug and the accents throughout the room.
